Coach Katie is a black belt in Krav Maga and holds “train the trainer” status as a member of the KMA Training Team. She is also a certified instructor with KMA Force, the military and law enforcement training division of Krav Maga Alliance.
She teaches self-defense seminars and courses in communication and conflict navigation for a wide range of organizations including corporations, fire departments, youth organizations, SWAT teams, and public school unions. Her expertise has been featured in Guns and Ammo Mag’s Book of Personal Defense, and podcasts like Know Fear and Born to Be Badass.
Katie also held the MTAA U.S. national title in MuayThai for her weight class and was a member of the U.S. National MuayThai team competing at IFMA, the MuayThai World Championships in 2009.
